Custom Cocktail Pool With Multi-Level Paver Patio – Clarksville, MD

This client wanted to add a hint of modern design to their rural Howard County home. Our first meeting with this client produced some big ideas, but didn’t have as much space as we thought due to their septic field. We also needed to separate the patio space into terraces because of the slope of the property.

The cocktail style pool features a large lounging ledge, while the terraced patio provided the opportunity to create a ‘reverse’ infinity edge that cascades into the swimming pool. The upper basin has four LED back lit bubblers that run separately or in conjunction with the infinity edge. The pool also has ample LED lighting to put on a magnificent color display, all controlled through the owners’ cell phone app!

The modern style continues through the space with trendy porcelain paver stones for both patio terraces. We matched the style of the patios to the adjacent retaining wall on the property. 

The owners worked directly with Struxure to add a louvered panel pergola to the upper patio for a comfortable shaded poolside oasis.
